Welcome To My Tumblr! Here's What You Should Know About Me:
Hi *waves*. My name is Rochelle but you can call me Shelley. Personal stats rundown: I'm older than most you *I think*, the mother of two amazing girls, engaged to the greatest guy on the planet (his name is Ethan and I talk about it quite a bit) my sexuality is...fluid I suppose. It's probably best described as pan but I sort of have the mindset that labels go on clothes not people so for me I just like who I like. Whether someone identifies as male, female both or neither, cis or trans, gay, straight, bi, pan, demi, ace or anything else...the packaging/labeling doesn't really matter to me. I'm a POC (as if you couldn't tell by the picture lol) a total goober, a fanfic writer, and super enthusiastic fangirl.
My blogging philosophy is pretty simple: This is my happy place, emphasis on my. Tumblr for me is a reprieve from "real life" so this space is all about the things that bring me joy: the actors/actresses I flail over, the fandoms I'm unhealthily obsessed with, and all the things relevant to my interests. I think the most important thing to know is that I really do try to "blog happy". I want Tumblr to be a positive, fun experience for me so I try to make my dash a happy place to be and my Tumblr a fun place for my followers. I don't "hate blog". I do have strong opinions and I will share them, especially if it's something I'm passionate about, but I am always open to (and encouraging of) discussion and discourse and I always try to be respectful of other people and their POV's. If your kink isn't my kink or your ship isn't my ship or you stan a character that I really don't like...it's all fine by me. I'm totally open to discussing our differing opinions BUT I'm not trying to convert or convince anyone to my POV. Live and let live, blog and let blog, ship and let ship is sort of my Tumblr motto. To that end, I don't involve myself in ship wars or wank. I'd rather devote my time online to the things that I love rather than "hating" on the things I don't enjoy.
No wank/flames/hating is allowed on my dash, especially if it's related to Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Grant Gustin, Jonathan Groff or the characters they portray on Glee. Criticism is fine; hate is not and since this is my blog I get to decide the difference between the two.
I will also unfollow with absolutely no hesitation or regret blogs that post hate pertaining to Dylan O'Brien, Tyler Hoechlin or Sterek. You have the right to your opinion and I have the right not to be subjected to it. I refuse to allow my experience on Tumblr to be tarnished by negativity about the things that I enjoy. These are things that bring bring me happiness and I won't have anyone raining on my parade on my dash/blog. Hate all you want-you just won't do it here.
